FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I really need a wedding video?

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: Yes!!! (With exclamation points)

Seriously though, there’s a lot you won’t see on your wedding day—but your video will. It’s one of the only ways to preserve you and your loved one’s memories of the day to be relived over and over again.

Lastly, you’ll regret it (*shakes fists angrily)

No joke. According to a 2006 survey from WEVA (Wedding and Event Videographers Association), only about 50 percent of engaged brides thought videography was important. However, after the marriage, that number jumped to 75 percent—and 98 percent of those newlyweds said they'd recommend videography to other couples.

How would you describe your wedding style?

We are a fusion of cinematic (mimicking the angles and transitions of movies), storytelling (extensive use of voiceover audio to narrate the story of your wedding day), and modern music video (cutting to the pulsing beat of the music, and showcasing your awesome dance moves).

Do you work well with other vendors (photographers)?

Absolutely. We take a laid-back approach to our shooting style, preferring a more candid fly on the wall approach. We capture the day as it unfolds, we don’t direct it. However, if we have a cool idea, we will run it by you and the photographer of course to see if there is enough time to execute it. Communication is key on wedding day.

Do you travel?

Yes!!! That’s one of our favorite parts of the day. We get to experience new locations, meet new people and make new connections. We are based in NJ, but so far have traveled to PA, WV, DE, NY and RI. We do charge a travel fee but it’s just gas + toll, none of that 60 cents a mile IRS stuff.

How long until I get to see my wedding film?

Typically, 90 days. We work as hard as we can to deliver a quality product so we don’t like to rush anything but we always meet our deadlines. No matter how many Starbucks baristas we have to woo for some coffee.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are. We have a $1 Million liability policy which meets the standard of pretty much all wedding venues. We can provide certificates of insurance upon request.

Should I buy raw footage?

That’s a tough one. Raw footage is the good, the bad, and the ugly we captured on your wedding day. We typically end up shooting 6-8 hours’ worth of footage from multiple cameras and not everything can make it into your wedding film. However, if you are big on family and friends and want more footage of your wedding day that features them you should get it. Also, we keep a copy of the raw footage for 1 year after filming. If you still need more after your wedding film has been delivered you have 2 months to contact us and we can ship you all the footage on a hard drive for a modest fee.

Do you offer discounts?

Not usually. We bring over $10,000 worth of equipment to every wedding and we have student loans to pay off, lol.

What did you think about the new Spider-Man movie?

It was amazing. Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland all in the same movie. Also, William freaking Dafoe’s performance as the Green Goblin was top notch. You know what...If you dress up as Spider-Man and Mary Jane for your wedding we can work out a discount.

Okay, you sold me! When should I book you?

As soon as possible. We work on a first come first serve basis, so whoever pays us first gets us personally for their wedding. Once the agreement is signed and we receive your 25% retainer. We are exclusively yours(Kind of like a marriage).
